- I have an AMax2 (cartridge in the floppy port) running on a 25 meg hard drive
- partition. I've found that installing DOS Mounter Plus on the AMax lets me
- read 720k PC disks in the standard Amiga floppy drives so transfers can be
- done from a Mac to AMax if both have DOS Mounter running.
-
- I also have CrossMac which will move files directly to the AMax hard drive
- partition from a PC (or Amiga) floppy while running under the Amiga OS. In
- fact, I have a 386 bridgeboard with an external 1.44 floppy drive. I run
- Macdisk on the bridge board (it's like CrossMac for the PC) and can AWRITE
- files from a high density Mac or PC floppy through CrossMac on the Amiga
- side, onto the AMax partition.
-
- Wish I had an Amiga High Density drive, but these work arounds will do.
